Fashion meets philanthropy on Folly Beach, South Carolina

Surfing the Runway is an exciting fund raising fashion show which will debut the summer 2010 clothing lines from local design companies Mamie Ruth and MEW.

Attendees will enjoy hors d’oeuvres and specialty cocktails as well as a silent auction to benefit Surfers Healing, a program that benefits autistic children. Surfers Healing has come to Folly Beach, South Carolina for the past two years and is an amazing experience for everyone involved. Professional surfers travel the country to give families dealing with autism a unique surfing opportunity.

The show will take place at BLU Restaurant located at the Holiday Inn on Folly Beach, SC. The first 100 attendees will receive SWAG bags. There will also be door prizes and giveaways in addition to food, drinks, and fashion. Designs seen on the runway will also be for sale after the fashion show. Don’t miss this opportunity to mix local fashion and philanthropy.
