If you’ve never listened to Dangermuffin, now’s the time. If you’re an old fan, prepare to be impressed anew.

Dangermuffin releases their new album, Moonscapes, at the Music Farm on Saturday, March 20. A free CD is included with the price of the ticket. $10 is nothing. It’s an absolute steal for a live show at the Music Farm featuring Dangermuffin. Plus you get to be the first to hear their amazing new album live before they go on a national tour that is sure to propel them to new heights. Moonscape is truly a piece of work that music fans will love. It’s all over the place. Funky, blues, rock. It’s what you might imagine would happen if the Beatles and Willie Nelson had a love child. Crazy good.

The album was recorded it in Nashville and are embarking on a national tour to promote it, including stops at the Summer Camp music festival in Illinois in May, FloydFest in July, and a west coast tour from Seattle down through California and back. They’ve signed with New Frontier, the booking agent for The Avett Brothers, and James Flames designed their cover art – he’s done posters and CD art for bands like Of Montreal, Blitzen Trapper, and you will know us by the trail of dead.

The album itself is very eclectic and shows the huge range available to Dangermuffin and how well they utilize their talents. If you haven’t gotten into them before, go ahead and give them a chance so you can become an original fan before they blow up. Guaranteed they’ll come back home to Charleston much bigger than when they left and you’ll have the memory of the first show that kicked off the tour.

Show information:

Saturday, March 20
The Music Farm
Special guest: James Justin & Co.
$10 admission includes copy of “Moonscapes”
9 p.m.
Show is also the Lowcountry HighRollers official game afterparty
